Why Broadleaf Logistics is not slowing down

We are all too familiar with the slow down in the current housing market. It comes across our desk each day in one form or another. Whether it is the latest housing start data or new calls to do more with less we are all facing many of the same challenges. That is why over the next few months Broadleaf Logistics has chosen to share with the readers of HIR the success stories, signs of industry life and opportunities that our business is uniquely able to present.
As one of the country’s largest building product distributors, we bring together some of the world’s most recognized building product brands with leading local market lumber yards and building product retailers. The depth of our product coverage spread across the breadth of this country (urban and rural) gives us a unique perspective on how the building industry is not only facing current market challenges but even finding new ways to grow.
For Broadleaf, the current market has caused us to focus our strategic efforts even more on growing our product coverage across key end-use categories. Over the past 2 months our company has introduced over 6 new products/systems; products as diverse as IKO PolyIso insulation, Crane BellaStone, CertainTeed Vinyl Fencing and Finex Fiber Cement Panels. Over the next 3 months even more product/systems introductions are being targeted. During that time we’ll share from our industry insights, market feedback, and positive success stories from different regions across Canada.
By targeting new products benefiting from new technologies and material advancements, we will continue to bring growth opportunities to the Canadian marketplace. So, although the market has slowed Broadleaf has chosen not to slow down. Stay tuned for more.
