Structurwood SturdiStep Stair Treads
A high-quality alternative to lumber and plywood treads, Structurwood SturdiStep™ provides a consistent, flat, and straight tread for single and multi-family structures. Manufactured from engineered strands of wood and moisture resins bonded with heat and pressure for extra strength, SturdiStep™ virtually eliminates problems common to plywood and lumber such as loose knots, cupping, core voids, glue failure, delamination, warping, twisting, splitting, and shrinking. Each board features a 1" bull-nosed edge to reduce job-site preparation. Available in 11.5" X 12". Custom sizes available upon request.
ULAY Floor Covering Underlayment
A specially manufactured plywood panel produced by Tolko Industries and designed for superior floor underlayment performance. Ulay® provides stiffness underfoot while helping to prevent tile cracking and popping. Fir Ulay® is three times stiffer than cement backer boards, 60 percent stiffer than poplar underlayment, and 75 percent stiffer than Baltic Birch or Lauan underlayment. Engineered with waterproof exterior grade glue for stability in excessive moisture conditions. Available in DFP (Fir) or CSP (Canadian Softwood), 4' X 8' or 4' X 4' sheets, 8.5mm thick.
Form Ply
We carry medium density overlaid forming plywood for concrete formwork. Constructed with Douglas Fir with 7-ply construction, our form ply has superior strength and stiffness. It has a low water transmission rate from a constant water/cement ratio which results in a harder, denser concrete surface. It is easy to install and maintain and provides a smoother, whiter, matte-finish concrete that resists grain and patch transfer.
Sheathing
Plywood sheathing is proven as a highly stable, strong, lightweight, and impact-resistant building material. This versatile product is ideal for a wide number of applications, from floors to roofs. We carry a variety of grades and thickness of plywood in Douglas Fir and Canadian Softwood.
G1S
Good One Side Douglas Fir plywood panels are perfect for jobs where appearance or a smooth sanded surface is important. Ideal for cabinets, shelving, and concrete forms.
OSB
Oriented Strandboard provides uniformity, strength, and versatility and is commonly used as sheathing for walls, floors, and roofs. Each panel is precisely engineered to create a 100 percent uniform product that protects against buckling, cupping, warping, and sagging. We carry it in 3/8" to 7/8" thicknesses, and in tongue-in-groove style in 19/32" to 7/8" thicknesses.
Bessemer Poplar Plywood
We carry Industrial grade plywood in Sanded 1 side and Sanded 2 side in thicknesses ranging from 1/4" to 1-1/8".
Import Panels
We carry a variety of import panels in different species, grades and thicknesses, including Russian Birch, Meranti, Chinese Birch and Red Oak.
Polybak
Polybak is a single-ply sheet used as a backer on laminated or veneer substrate panels. It is also used as an overlay or a cross band. Polybak is Green Guard certified as it has no added formaldehyde.
Other Industrial Panels
We have a wide selection of Fibrex, Mende, Melamine, Particle Board and Medium Density Fibreboard. Also available is Fire Rated and No Added Urea Formaldehyde in PB and MDF.
